My personal recording and DJ booth (homestudio) is used for playing and recording Turntablism, Keys, E-Drums, Fingerpads, Vocals and E-guitars. I call this little room Offside 13. This is were I do my work and productions and you’ll find me here almost every night listening to new releases, making mixtapes, producing tracks or do some rehearsing with artists.


Using digital audio software means many devices are replaced by virtual instruments. These plugins give an abundance of sounds and effects which brings plenty possibilities while making music. I focus on these opportunities while I still try to keep the essence of the instruments. Guitar is been played on a guitar, records run with turntables, drummers use a drum kit.
However, Every instrument is connected to my D.A.W. to make the sounds more flexible. As a DJ I use digital vinyl to control DJ software with turntables in order to play mp3 from a computer. But the new digital way of DJ-ing is something I have to master too, so a lot of time and effort is spent on that these days. Just trying to get a mix done in many ways…
